tṛδīyam S. (ത്രി ) Third. തൃതീയ (gramm.) The dative case; (astr.) the third day of the lunar fortnight. (തൃ): തൃത്താലിച്ചാര്‍ത്തു a Kshatriya marriage. തൃത്താവു (prob. താഴ്വു, the basin which holds the holy plant). Ocymum sanctum, തുളസി, also called നല്ല തൃ. (&തൃത്വാ അരി a. med.) Kinds: കരിന്തൃ. tēkkuγa (C. Tu. തേഗു to belch, Te. തേഞ്ചു, T. to cram). To belch തേക്കി ഇടുക, തളികയില്‍ ഉണ്ടാലും തേക്കും, ഇരിന്പുകുടി ച്ച വെള്ളം തേക്കുമോ prov. തേക്കി അരെക്കുക to ruminate (& തേട്ടി അ.) — ചക്കിന്‍റെ കണ തേക്കിപ്പോയി has flown out. No. തേങ്ങുക So. (T. to be full). To beat as waves on the shore, to feel nausea, to sob. തേ ങ്ങിത്തേങ്ങിക്കരക So.; to totter, reel V1.; to work out as a nail. B. VN. (തേയുക) 1. To rub, smear തേച്ചിരിക്ക (with oil). തേച്ചുകളി regular bath. കുഞ്ഞനേ തേച്ചുകളിപ്പിക്കുന്നു TP.
