Hence: തുന്പിക്കൈ T. M. C. (po. തുന്പിക്കരം ത ന്നേ തലോടി CG.) an elephant's trunk, lit. 'the sneezing hand'. തു. യോടുളവായ പൈതല്‍ Anj. Gaṇapati. തു. ചുരുട്ടും MC. (in running). തുന്പിത്താന്‍ V1. 2. & തുന്പിത്താരം B. a long trumpet, (see താര) = ൦രംററക്കുഴല്‍. തുന്പിപ്പച്ച a kind of Centaurium, which produces sneezing.

toṇṇūr̀ụ T. M. (തൊള്‍) Ninety, തൊണ്ണൂറുചാല്‍ പൂട്ടിയാല്‍ prov. തൊണ്ണൂറാം വാ ക്യം വാങ്ങി he has run away; (ഗമനകാലം is the 90th among the 248 വാക്യം or memorial words nsed by astrologers).
