taḍassụ = തട, തടച്ചല്‍. Obstruction, hindrance ഓരോരോ തടസ്സും പറഞ്ഞു TR. — also തടസ്സം f. i. നികിതി ത. കൂടാതേ എടുക്ക, ത. കാട്ടുന്നവരോടു ബലത്താലേ തടുത്തു നികിതി വാങ്ങുക വേണ്ടിവരും TR. the renitent. തടസ്ഥം (mod.) id. പണം കൊടുക്കുന്നതിന്നുള്ള തടസ്ഥങ്ങള്‍ TR. difficulties, opposition. അതിന്നു ഏതാനും ത. പറഞ്ഞു MR. objected to it. തടസ്ഥനിവാരണത്തിന്നു MR. to remove the hindrances. ത'ങ്ങള്‍ നേരിടും etc.

tuḷasi S. (√ prec?) Holy basil, Ocymum sanctum GP 62. തുളസിച്ചോറു a. med. It serves, with Darbha-grass, for the funeral ceremonies of Brahmans. തു. മുതലായ അച്ചനാ പുഷ്പങ്ങള്‍ TR. — തുളസീദളവര്‍ഷവും കാണായി KumK. (from heaven). Kinds: കാട്ടുതു. No. low, trifling, fool-hardy, mischievousness. ത. പറക to speak indirectly, evasively. തറുതലക്കാരന്‍ a mischievous & fool-hardy man. തറുപ്പു V1. a brush. തറുവാങ്കം a. med. = സര്‍വ്വാംഗം.
