tēkkuγa (C. Tu. തേഗു to belch, Te. തേഞ്ചു, T. to cram). To belch തേക്കി ഇടുക, തളികയില്‍ ഉണ്ടാലും തേക്കും, ഇരിന്പുകുടി ച്ച വെള്ളം തേക്കുമോ prov. തേക്കി അരെക്കുക to ruminate (& തേട്ടി അ.) — ചക്കിന്‍റെ കണ തേക്കിപ്പോയി has flown out. No. തേങ്ങുക So. (T. to be full). To beat as waves on the shore, to feel nausea, to sob. തേ ങ്ങിത്തേങ്ങിക്കരക So.; to totter, reel V1.; to work out as a nail. B. VN. I. തേക്കം nausea, unsubdued anger B.; tottering, swoon V1. II. in പുളിന്തേക്കു TP. ഇടുക or III. പുളിന്തേ ക്കല്‍ ആയിരിക്ക sour belching, caused by an evil eye, (superst.) No. II. തേക്ക, ച്ചു v. a. (തേയുക) 1. To rub, smear തേച്ചിരിക്ക (with oil). തേച്ചുകളി regular bath. കുഞ്ഞനേ തേച്ചുകളിപ്പിക്കുന്നു TP. toil (C, Tu. സുലി, see തോല്‍; √ തൊല്‍ T. before) Skin; bark, peel, rind. അസ്ഥി രോ മം തൊലി ഇവ ചൊല്ലിയും നായാട്ടില്‍ കൊല്ലും KR. വേര്‍മ്മേലേത്തൊലി a. med. അത്തൊലി ത ന്നേ വിളന്പി CG. plantain-skins. തൊലിക്ക v. a. to skin, peel തൊലിപ്പുറം എടുക്ക V1.; ഉള്ളി തൊലിച്ചു കുത്തിയിട്ടു a. med.; ചാല ത്തൊലിച്ച വാഴപ്പഴങ്ങള്‍ CG. VN. തൊലിപ്പു peeling. തൊലിപ്പനരി V2. = വെ ളുപ്പിച്ച അരി (B. rice merely husked, not well beaten). തൊലിയുക n. v. to be peeled. തോല്‍ തൊലിഞ്ഞു പോയി the skin went off.

toḷuttụ (T. So. also തൊഴുവം, fr. തൊഴു 3., C. തുളി & Te. tor̀r̀u, cattle) A stable, sheepfold, shed for goats, etc. നായരുടെ തൊ ഴുത്തില്‍നിന്നു കളവുപോയ മൂരി MR.
