dhruvam S. (ധൃ) 1. Fixed, abiding; sure അതിന്നു ധ്രവദൃഷ്ടാന്തം ഒന്നു ചൊല്ലുവന്‍ KeiN. 2. adv. certainly. 3. the polar star ധ്രുവത്തിന്‍റെ പേര്‍ ജലജോയം astrol. ധ്രുവം കൂട്ടുക B. to make an astrological calculation. ധ്രുവന്‍ 1. the polar-star, personified ധ്രവനാം വിഷ്ണുഭക്തന്‍ Bhg. 2. the celestial pole ധ്രുവ നെക്കണ്ടാല്‍ ൬ മാസത്തിന്നുള്ളില്‍ മരണം വരി കയില്ല (superst.)
