nēδāvụ S. (നീ) A leader = നായകന്‍. നേത്രം S. the eye = നയനം, as നേത്രഗോച രം Bhg. within reach of the eye. നേത്രന്‍ = കണ്ണന്‍ having eyes, f. i. അര്‍ണ്ണോജ—, അംബുജ —, ഉല്പല —, പുഷ്കര —, etc. AR. nula (= നുര്‍, നുറു) Rotting, rheum of the eye പോളമേല്‍ നുലയും ചൂടും ഏററമായി Nid24. നുലയുക to rot, moulder (as victuals), be overripe മുഖം താണു നുലഞ്ഞിട്ടു നൊന്തീടും വി നതക്കുരു Nid.; നുലഞ്ഞവസ്ത്രം = മുഷിഞ്ഞ. VN. നുലച്ചല്‍, also ധാന്യങ്ങള്‍ തിന്നു നുലവു വരുത്തി MC. macerate, digested. നുലെക്ക v. a. to soften by squeezing, spoil വാതാദികള്‍ മാംസം നുലെച്ച് അതില്‍ പുഴു ക്കള്‍ ഉണ്ടാക്കില്‍, മാംസത്തിനെ നുലെക്കാ തേ Nid.
