pavanam S. (പൂ) Purification; wind. പവിത്രം S. 1. a sieve, strainer. 2. purifying, pure. 3. a ring made of sacrificial grass ദര്‍ഭ മോതിരം; hence പവിത്രവിരല്‍ the ring-finger പത്തു വിരല്ക്കു പവിത്രാംഗുലീയവും SiPu.

payiluγa aM. T. (see പയററു). 1. To learn, നാനാവിധമാന വിദ്യകള്‍ പയി ന്നവന്‍ RC. 2. to speak, മന്നില്‍നിന്നു പൈ ല്വൊരു മുതല്വി RC.

prathamam S. (പ്ര).
