puḷayuγa M. C. (poḷe, Te. polupu). To twirl about, wriggle തിരമാല നടുവേ പു' ന്ന ഭുജഗങ്ങള്‍ RS. പുളഞ്ഞുകളക a snake to twine itself round the body of men, beasts. VN. I. പുളച്ചല്‍ (പാന്പിന്‍റെ). pūval 1. (VN. of പൂക്ക). Flourishing or T. M. red colour (=പൂവത്തു) in പൂവലംഗം, SiPu. പൂവല്‍മേനി, പൂവല്‍മൈ CG. a fine body. 2. B. a fruit with the flower attached, empty pod. 3. dampness, moisture (=പുകില്‍). മഴ പെയ്തു പൂല്‍ അടങ്ങിയിട്ടില്ല No. = നനവു മു ന്പേയുള്ള നനവോടെത്തിയില്ല the rain has not penetrated the soil. പൂല്‍ ഉള്ള സ്ഥലത്തു കുമിള്‍; വിത്തു ഇരുപൂലില്‍ ആയ്പോയി No. has sprouted only partly (the field must be resown). met. ഇന്നിന്നവനു നല്ല പൂല്‍ അല്ലേ = No. he thrives. 4. a crop എത്ര പൂവ്വലുള്ള നിലം, ഇരു പൂവ്വലുള്ളതു Arb.
