puḷḷi T. M. (= പുള്ളടി? C. Te. Puḷḷi, a thin piece of grass, straw = പുല്ക്കൊടി). 1. A dot, spot, point പൂച്ചത്തോലില്‍ പു. കുത്തി പു ലിത്തോല്‍ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു VyM. പു. യുള്ളൊരു പട്ടും തരുവാന്‍ SG. (= വീരാളിപ്പട്ടു). പു. പു. യാ യിരിക്ക to be much spotted. ആരിയപ്പു. a kind of spots on cattle. കടകം പുള്ളിക്കാള with spots on the neck, belly & feet (claimed by Rājas) — (also N. pr. of places f. i. പരുത്തി പ്പുള്ളി). 2. the mark s in gram., the vowel എ. 3. a cipher, nought. 4. an article or person, and their valuation. ചെറു പു. a trifle. — പാറാപ്പു. a prisoner. പുള്ളിക്കാരന്‍ (4), നല്ല പു. a man of note, influential = തറവാട്ടുകാരന്‍. — പു'ക്കാര്‍ Trav. tax-payers. — പുള്ളിക്കാരത്തി f. = തറവാട്ടുകാര ത്തി, also beautiful. പുള്ളിക്ക V1. to be spotted, speckled. പുള്ളിക്കുത്തു flaw in cloth, etc. പുള്ളിച്ചി f. (1) M. spotted f. i. പു. പ്പശു. പുള്ളിത്താപ്പു a private mark of price on cloth. പുള്ളിപ്പുലി a leopard; this as well as പുള്ളി നരി are considered royal property KU. പുള്ളിപ്പുലിയന്‍ N. pr. a Paradēvata. പുള്ളിമാന്‍ a spotted deer. പു'ങ്കണ്ണി SiPu. പു' ങ്കരനു പോലുമാമല്ല RC. to Siva, — also പു ള്ളിമറിമാന്‍ Sil. പുള്ളിവസത്രം spotted cloth as given after പുങ്ങം. പുള്ളിവിളക്കം So. 1. examination of accounts. 2. registration of anything in the names of persons after ascertaining their rights.
