pīvaram S. (പീനം). Fat, stout പീവ രഗ്രീവങ്ങള്‍ അശ്വങ്ങള്‍ Nal. പീവരസ്തനി f. with large breasts or udder.

pūluvaǹ (fr. foll. or = പുല്ലന്‍, പു ള്ളുവന്‍?) Palg. A palm-climbing caste lower than I/?/awars (Cochin enclave); a slave, low servant No. വീട്ടില്‍ പിറന്നവന്‍ പൂ. prov. പൂ ലുവ wretch! — ഞാന്‍ അവന്‍റെ പൂലുവത്തി യോ fem.; also പൂലുവപ്പട്ടി (abuse.). പൂല്‍ = പുകില്‍, പൂവല്‍.

paγaḍụ A small bit (പകുക), അകടു പ. useless.

pūṇuγa T. M. C. (Te. pūḍu, see പു ണര്‍). 1. v. n. To be closed ചങ്ങല പൂണ്ടുള്ള വാതില്‍ CG.; to be yoked, put to തേരില്‍ പൂ ണ്ട അശ്വം Nal. 2. v. a. to embrace മാറോ ടു ചേര്‍ത്തു പൂണ്ടു CG. കണ്ണുകള്‍ ചിമ്മിപ്പൂണ്ടാള്‍ Bhr. പൂമൈ പൂണുക Si Pu. അവളെ പൂ. (അരപ. f. i. അരപലിശ കണ്ടു 7½ ഇടങ്ങാഴി നെല്ലു പ. പിടിച്ചു doc. MR.) or 2½ pct. (കാല്‍. പ. even മാകാണിപ്പ.) paid in rice at the rate of 5 Iḍangā/?/is for 1 fanam.
