No. (abuse) etc. VN. പുഴുപ്പു being worm-eaten; rottenness. പുഴുക്കടി a skin-disease, chiefly one produced by the first rains, വിഷവെള്ളത്താലേ കാ ല്ക്ക പുണ്ണുണ്ടാകുന്ന പു.; also ringworm കുള ന്പില്‍ പു. കടിച്ചു TP. of a bull, see തല ച്ചൊറി 394. പുഴുക്കടിക്കായി fruit of an Asclepias, employed to counteract it. പുഴുക്കരണം a time in each fortnight, unfavorable to sowing (astrol.) പുഴുക്കുത്തു canker, the damage trees suffer from worms, caterpillars, etc. പുഴുക്കുത്തുക, പുഴക്കേടു. പുഴുക്കൂടു a worm's nest, (of പച്ചപ്പുഴ used as bag for പുതുപ്പണം), a cocoon. പുഴുക്കൊത്തി the hoopoe. പുഴുക്കൊല്ലി a vermifuge Justicia nasuta, Rh. (Aristolochia T.) പുഴുത്തീനി the fly-catcher MC. പുഴുത്തുള worm-bite, ആമാടെക്കു പു. നോക്കേ ണ്ട prov. don't find fault with. പുഴുനൂല്‍ raw silk. പുഴുപ്പല്ലു rotten tooth. പുഴുപ്പല്ലന്‍ m., — പ്പല്ലി f. having decayed teeth.

pōrkuγa T. aM. (Te. prōgu to heap). 1. To wrap (= പൊതിയുക), to cloak പോര്‍ത്തമരത്തുകിലാം തുകിലും RC. 2. to soak palm-leaves = ഓല പൊതിര്‍ക്ക. VN. പോര്‍പ്പു (T. cloak) swelling as from stripes. പോര്‍ച്ചി N. pr. f. (Tīyatti).
