peṇṇaḷ (പെണ്‍കള്‍) hon. pl. of പെ ണ്‍, Sister, when spoken of or to by her brother. pl. പെങ്ങന്മാര്‍ MR. Anach. (vu. പെങ്ങളമാര്‍).

puṇ T. M. C. (huṇṇu & puru, Te. puṇḍu, Tu. puḍi). A sore, ulcer; a wound ഇലക്കണന്‍ തനിക്കു പുണ്‍നൊന്തതിരോഗം മരുന്നിനാല്‍ തീര്‍ത്തു RC. പുണ്ണില്‍ ഒരു കൊള്ളി വെക്കുന്നതു പോലേ AR. പുണ്ണില്‍ വെച്ചു കെട്ടുക a. med. പു. വറളും MM. the wound heals. — തീപ്പു. a scald. — ഉഷ്ണപ്പു. Syphilis. പുണ്ണന്‍ having sores = വ്രണമുള്ളവന്‍. പുണ്ണാക to become sore. — വായി പുണ്ണാക്കുക to salivate.

pīvaram S. (പീനം). Fat, stout പീവ രഗ്രീവങ്ങള്‍ അശ്വങ്ങള്‍ Nal. പീവരസ്തനി f. with large breasts or udder.

paḍabaḍa T. M. C. Rattling noise, the report of a gun, etc. (Onomat.)

piḍ/?/a S. (fr. പിഴി). 1.
