pōḍuγa (T. to throw, strike, Te. C. pōṭu a stab, C. poḍe to strike). 1. To strike, as a wedge into timber ആണികള്‍ പോടി പ്പോടി PT. 2. to put കൈകൊച്ചായുളളവന്‍ കങ്കണം പോടുന്പോലേ PT 1.; നാന്‍ ചൊന്ന തെല്ലാം ഒത്തുവരാ എങ്കില്‍ നാവറുത്ത പോടു വന്‍ Coratti.P.
