(അരപ. f. i. അരപലിശ കണ്ടു 7½ ഇടങ്ങാഴി നെല്ലു പ. പിടിച്ചു doc. MR.) or 2½ pct. (കാല്‍. പ. even മാകാണിപ്പ.) paid in rice at the rate of 5 Iḍangā/?/is for 1 fanam. Formerly for each fanam mortgage-money the yearly interest was 1 നാഴി നെല്ലു (= 4 pct.). പലിശമുടങ്ങിക്കിടന്നുപോയാല്‍ VyM. interest not being paid. പലിശക്കൂററു & പലിശമണിക്കൂററു (1) noise of the shield പലിശ തുടെക്കമര്‍ത്തുTP. പലിശ മടക്കം (2) a deed of mortgage in which the rent of the estate transferred to the mortgagee is equal to the interest of the loan പലിശ മടക്ക ഓലക്കരണം W.
