Plur. പലരും കൂടിയാല്‍ പാന്പും ചാകാ prov.; പലരും opp. ചിലര്‍ Bhr 1.; പലര്‍ കേള ക്കച്ചൊല്ലരുതു Sk.; പലര്‍ അറിക, പലരും അ റിയേ notoriously, publicly. Neutr. പലതു as വഴി പലതു Bhr.; neutr. pl. പല as യാഗങ്ങള്‍ പല ചെയ്തു SiP u.; also പലവു കണ്ടാല്‍ CC. or പലവയും ചൊല്ലി വിലാപിച്ചു AR., ചോരപ്പു ഴകളും കാണായിതു പലവയൊലിക്കുന്നതും AR., ഇങ്ങനേ പലവും പറഞ്ഞു and so on. parōkšam S. (പരഃ, അക്ഷ). Lying beyond our sight or perception, opp. പ്രത്യക്ഷം, as പരോക്ഷജ്ഞാനം Bhg.; പൂ൪വ്വകാണ്ഡങ്ങള്‍ ഭിന്നമായി പ'മായി ദു൪ബ്ബലമായി Bhg. are abrogated as torn & thrown aside, (because അപ രോക്ഷജ്ഞാനം (36) വന്നു). പരോപകാരം S. pinasam S. A cold, catarrh മൂക്കൊ ഴുക്കു (പീ 2?); ozena പീ'രോഗം med. പീനാറി, see പീ. പീപ്പ Port. pipa, A cask, also പീപ്പക്കുററി. പീയൂഷം S. (പീനം). piḷarirγa (C. fear, Te. pēdu, C. Te. pēlike a splinter) 1. v. n. To burst asunder, split. കണ്ടാല്‍ ചിത്തംപിളര്‍ന്നുപോം Nal. heart-rending. തോമം ഏരറു പിളന്നൊരുമാറു CG. എല്ലു പിളന്‍റു പുറപ്പെടും, a. med. മേദിനി പിളര്‍ന്നു Bhr. ബ്രഹ്മാണ്ഡം പി. Bhg. so ചിറി, കാല്‍, കുമ്മായം etc. 2. v. a. (transition thro' constructions like പാന്പു വാ പിളന്നണഞ്ഞു Nal.) to split, cleave വൃകോദരന്‍ ദുശ്ശാസനന്‍ മാരിടം പിളര്‍ന്നതു, മാരുതി കീറിപ്പിളര്‍ന്നു കുടി ച്ചൊരു മാരിടം Bhr. സൂ൪യ്യബിംബത്തെപ്പി. Nal. VN. I. പിള൪ച്ച splitting; a cleft etc. പിളര്‍ക്ക & പിളക്ക 1. v. a. To split, cleave, rend കഷ്ഠം പിടിച്ചു പിളര്‍ത്തശരീരം Sil. 2. v. n. അവള്‍ക്ക് ആനനം ചാലപ്പിളര്‍ത്തു കൂടി.
