bhāǰanam S. (ഭജ്). l. A vessel, as dish, cup പരിപൂര്‍ണ്ണമായിരിക്കുന്നു ഭാ. നൂറുണ്ടു Mud. 2. partaking of, worthy of (=പാത്രം). ഭാഗ്യത്തിന്‍ ഭാ. എങ്ങനേ ഞാനാവു, തല്‍കാരു ണ്യപൂരത്തിന്‍ ഭാ'മായ അമ്മ CG. ദേഹം ജരാ വ്യാധിഭാ. Bhg. ഭാജകം S. the divisor = ഹാരകം f. i. രണ്ടു രാ ശികളില്‍ വെച്ചു മേലേതു ഭാജ്യം, കീഴേതു ഭാ ജകം Gan. (see foil.). ഭാജ്യം S. the dividend (see prec.) ദൃഢഭാ. ൧൭ ദൃഢഭാജകം പതിനഞ്ചു Gan.

bhavam S. (ഭൂ). 1. Birth. രണ്ടാം ഭവേ Si Pu. at my next birth. 2. existence, being in the world; the world ഭ. മാറുക, ഭവത്തെ പോക്ക KeiN. final absorption (= ജനിമോചനം). ഭവസാഗരം S. the misery of successive births. ഭ'രാല്‍ രക്ഷിച്ചു കൊള്ളേണമേ AR. ഭ. കട ക്ക to pass the stormy sea of life. ഭവസാ ഗരബന്ധു ChVr. God as helping through. — also ഭവമൃതിസമുദ്രം Bhg. ഭവതോയധി യില്‍ വീഴും VCh. to lead a life of stormy passions (= സംസാരസമുദ്രം). ഭവനം S. 1. existence. 2. a mansion, house f. i. of a Nāyar ഭ. ഉണ്ടാക്കിച്ചു തരുവന്‍ Bhr. ന മ്മുടെ ഭ. പണി ചെയ്യുന്നതിന്നു TR. (a Rāja). ഭവന്‍ S. a form of Rudra. ഭവാനി fem. 1. a form of Durga, ഭ. ഗേഹം Bhg. her temple. 2. N. pr. the Bhawāny, a tributary of the Kāvēry, rising on the Koṇḍa range (Koondahs) in Vaḷḷuva Nāḍu.

bh/?/δaǹ S. (part. pass. of ഭൃ = ഭരിക്ക). Maintained, hired; a servant. ഭൃതി S. support, wages ഭൃതികൊടുത്തഥ ഭൃതിന യവനും KR. ഭൃത്യന്‍ S. to be maintained, a servant ഭൃത്യജന ത്തെ അയച്ചു KU. ഭൃത്യപ്പണിക്കു സ്ത്രീയെ ഇ രുത്തി TR. ഭൃത്യത S. servitude.

bhaṇḍ/?/aǹ S. A jester; M. Tu. C. rude, obscene.

bhaḷḷu (V1. പളു prh. fr. പഴു, പാഴ് or വളുതം, വള്ളു). 1. Ostentation, show ഭള്ളിനായി ഭസ്മം തേച്ച Si Pu. ഭള്ളുള്ള നിന്‍റെ ഭാവം അറി യാതേ KR. (says Bāli to Rāma). ഭ. പറഞ്ഞു Bhr. boasted. ഭള്ളുകള്‍ അവരോടു കൂടുകയില്ല CrArj. menaces. 2. exaggeration, lie ഭള്ളും പൊള്ളും. ഭള്ളല്ല VilvP. quite true! ഭ. കാട്ടുക, ഭാവിക്ക B. to counterfeit, trick. ഭള്ളന്‍ vainglorious മഹാഭ.

bhāṇu S.( ഭാ).The sun ഭാനുമയങ്ങുന്നു Bhr.; also ഭാനുമാര്‍ (shining). ഭാനുവിക്രമന്‍ N. pr. the first Sāmanta ruler in Trav. KM.; title of the 4th in Calicut etc. ഭാമിനി S. (ഭാമം S. light, rage). Radient, passionate f. (a wife).

bharġaǹ S. (ഭര്‍ജ = G. phlegō to shine). 1. Siva. 2. bhāri (ഭാരം). Heavy, serious; tall. ഭാരികം S. = ഘനത്തിരിക്ക Asht. f. i. the heart, a limb in sickness. ഭാര്‍ഗ്ഗവന്‍ S. derived from ഭൃഗു, 1. as Parašurāma (ഭാര്‍ഗ്ഗവരാമന്‍ AR.) — ഭാര്‍ഗ്ഗവപുരാണം = പരശുരാമായണം KM. 2. a name of ശൂ ക്രന്‍, regent of Venus ഭാ. മീനത്തിലും — നി ല്ക്കുന്പോള്‍ AR.
