maitram S. (മിത്ര). Friendship മൈ. മറന്നു RS.; also മൈത്യ്രം. മൈത്രി id. ഭൂസരന്‍റെയും മൈഥിലന് തന്‍റെ യും മൈ. യെ പൂരിപ്പാന്‍ CG. മൈ. രക്ഷി പ്പാന്‍ പണി KR. മൈത്രീകരം S. gaining friends AR. (the Rāmāyaṇa is said to be such).

mānd/?/yam S. (മന്ദ്). 1. Sluggishness, torpor ബുദ്ധിമാ. 2. esp. = അഗ്നിമാ. indigestion, Tdbh. മാന്തം a children's disease, also മാന്തസന്നി fits from indigestion.

mišram S. (L. misceo). 1. Mixed, mingled; mixture പുണ്യപാപങ്ങള്‍ മി'മാം കര്‍മ്മം GnP.; Cpds. വിഷമിശ്രം Mud. etc 2. middling, as soil which is neither രാശി nor പശിമക്കൂറു

mūḍa 1. (T. Te. മൂട്ട fr. മുടു). A load, bale; esp. corn in straw-bundles for exportation, about 25 Iḍanga/?/is മൂടയരി, അരിമൂട, മൂടകെട്ടു ക. 2. a heap as of corn, straw പുല്‍മൂടെ ക്കിടുക. 3. fœtus born with a covering. മൂടുകുത്തി, മൂടായി an iron instrument for tapping rice-bales. മൂടയിട്ടറ TP. a rice magazine. മൂടവള്ളി Ipomœa quamoclit. മൂടവാതം = ഗര്‍ഭവാതം a. med.

mand/?/ikka S. = മന്ദം പിടിക്ക To become slow, dull, inactive as bowels. അസ്ത്രം മന്ദിച്ചിതേററവും Bhr. had spent its force. മന്ദിച്ചു വാങ്ങി Mud. retired slowly. ചൊന്നു മന്ദിച്ച നേരം CG. having done relating. വീ രന്‍ മ. to lose heart = മടുക്ക; മ'യാതേ പൂകി നാര്‍ CG. = മടിയാതേ.

maithila S. Referring to മിഥില, f. i. മൈഥിലരാജ്യം AR. മൈഥിലി Sīta.

mira T. aM. Excitement; മിറുകിക്കിടക്ക to be much afraid, മിറുക്കവും ഇറുക്കവും നന്നാ യി തട്ടി greedy & nervous at the same time (No.). മിറുക്കു B. a draught, gulp. മിറുക്കുക, ക്കി to speak (low word). മിറുമിറുക്ക to murmur, grumble. B. (= പി —). മിറിശ, മ്രിശ Trav. So. vu. (? C. mirru strong, active) = ബലം, ഉയിര്‍ f.i. മി. യില്ലാത്തവന്‍ sluggish, dull; മി. യുളളവന്‍ active, sprightly. മിററം mit/?/t/?/am A front-yard വണിക്കിന്‍റെ മി ററത്തിരുന്നു PT.; better മുററം.

maiyāram (മൈ 2.) = മെയ്യാരം. മൈയ്യന്‍ (മൈ 1.) Palg. Er̀. (opp. മെയ്യന്‍) a rogue. മൈയ്യക്കള്ളന്‍ Er̀. a night-snap, night-thief = തഞ്ചം നോക്കി; Palg. an eye-servant.
