mūnnụ (T. മൂന്‍റു, C. മൂറു, Tu. മൂജി, Te. മൂഡു fr. മു, മൂ 2). maδiyam (T. = മതി 5., Tdbh. of മദ്ധ്യം). The centre; pivot of a native door; door hinge ഇടു മതിയം; കീഴ്മതിയം 254, മേല്‍മതിയം; also = മെതിയം.

māruδaǹ S. (മരുല്‍). Wind ഏഴു മാ' ന്മാര്‍ KR. (f.i. വായു, പ്രാണന്‍, അനിലന്‍, ജീ വന്‍ etc.). മാരുതത്തെല്ലു Si Pu. a light breeze; zephyr. മാരുതദേവന്‍ Bhr., (also വിബുധ ശ്രേഷ്ഠന്‍) the giver of wisdom. മാരുതി S. Hanuman KR., Bhīmasēna Bhr.

mōr̀uγa No.(V1.2. മുവരുക) To cleanse, scour metal vessels with ashes etc. കുരണ്ടുമോ റി TP. കിണ്ണം വടിച്ചു മോറി, കിണ്ടി തേച്ചു മോറി. മോറാഴി, മോറായി the pommel of a knife, stick, etc. (മൊട്ടു). മോലോം vu. = മതിലകം.

murayuγa B. To be weary, harassed. മുരയിക്ക to tease (fr. മുറ?). മുരരിപു, മുരവൈരി, മുരാരി S. Višṇu, as destroyer of a demon Mura. മുരാരിനാടകം N. pr. a drama played by Chākyār in temples. Its author മുരാരികവി is most venerated, (see bel.)
