mūǹǰuγa To lick, devour = മു —, മോ — q.v., f. i. മാങ്ങ = ൦രംന്പുക. മൂഞ്ചി voracious; penem lingens ഊന്പി. obsc.

maṭṭa T. C. Te. Tu. 1. A palm-branch, gen. മട്ടല്‍. മട്ടലിടിഞ്ഞാല്‍ തെങ്ങാക, മട്ടലെണ്ണംകു ല No. 2. a certain measure of length ഒരു മട്ടെക്ക൫II ചൂടി Mpl. Cann. (= മട്ടു?). മട്ടക്കണ a stick made of a cocoanut branch, (fishermen lose their caste, when struck, with it). അസ്സല്‍ ഉറുമിമ. മട്ടച്ചാരം ashes from palm-boughs as used by washermen.

mēyγa 5. (മെയി surface). 1. v. n. To graze, browse ആടു മേഞ്ഞ കാടു prov. ഭൂതല ത്തില്‍ മേയട്ടേ CG. കോഴി ഒന്നിച്ചു മേയു ന്പോള്‍ TR. 2. T. M. (T. C. also vēy, Tu. C. bē) v. a. to thatch a house ഓല കെട്ടി പു ല്ലു മേഞ്ഞു jud. with grass; to tile ഓടു മേ., പുര മേ. (= പുതെക്ക). VN. മേച്ചല്‍ (മേഞ്ഞല്‍) see above. Bhr. — മു. ക്കരു, വെളള, ചുവപ്പു or ഉ ണ്ണി its contents. മു. ത്തോടു an egg-shell. കല ങ്ങിയ മു. a rotten or hatched egg. 2.
