muṭṭa T. M. & മൊട്ട So. C. Tu. (fr. മുടു). 1. An egg. മുട്ടക്കടുത്ത കോഴി a young fowl about to lay the first egg. മു. ഇടുക to lay, മു റിക്ക,വിരിക്ക to hatch eggs. മുട്ടകള്‍ വിരി യാഞ്ഞു ഒന്നിനെക്കൊട്ടി ഉടെച്ചാള്‍ Bhr. മു. പൊട്ടി. Bhr. — മു. ക്കരു, വെളള, ചുവപ്പു or ഉ ണ്ണി its contents. മു. ത്തോടു an egg-shell. കല ങ്ങിയ മു. a rotten or hatched egg. 2. No. obsc. penis. മുട്ടക്കൂണ്‍ a round mushroom. മുട്ടക്കോഴി No. a laying fowl (never put to brood). II.

muḷi T. M. 1. Scorched or dry. 2. the appearance of skin scalded and burst. മു. യുള്ള തല scabby. മു. വീണുപോക in leprosy. മുളിക്കണ്ടം rice-ground not tilled, covered with grass; opp. മുളി നീക്കിയതു i.e. മുളിക്കണ്ട. മുളിത്തൊലി (T. മുളരി firewood). Mimosa Sami, the sacrificial wood ശമി S. മുളിയില (1) a dry plantain leaf. മുളിയുക 1. to be scorched, torn as skin. മേല്‍ മു. 2. = മുടിയുക 3. (loc). മുളിയോല (1) No. a dried cocoanut leaf that cannot be plaited, കണ്ണന്‍ കുത്തി ഓല So.

maindaǹ T. M. (മൈന്തു T. C. delusion = മയ്യല്‍). 1. A boy. 2. a son RC. Mpl. മൈന്പു No. = മയിന്പു Dusk മൈന്പിന്നു വന്നു. മൈയല്‍ RC. = മയ്യല്‍ q. v. മൈയാല No. dusk.
