Better, best. ശ്രേയാന്‍ m. 2. prosperity, happiness തങ്ങ ളെ ശ്രേ. ൦ഗുണങ്ങളും കേട്ടു, നമുക്ക് അതു കൊ ണ്ടു ശ്രേ. വരേണം TR. ശ്രേ. ഉണ്ടാക ഭവാനു KR. ശ്രേയസ്സുളില്‍ ഒന്നു മുഖ്യം Bhg. the highest good (=പുരുഷാര്‍ത്ഥം) is ഭക്തി. ശ്രേഷ്ഠം S. (Superl.) best, superior; മുനിശ്രേ ഷ്ഠന്‍ etc. ശ്രേഷ്ഠത,— ത്വം S. excellency, superiority. ശ്രേഷ്ഠി S. the head-man of a trade or art ശ്രേ. വര്‍ത്തകന്‍ Mud. (hence ചെട്ടി 380.). ശ്രേ. യും ഭയപ്പെട്ടു Nal. the merchant (hon.). — സര്‍വ്വനഗരശ്രേഷ്ഠ്യം (S. superiority) Mud. authority over.
