kiḍa T. M. 1. (കിടു = കിട്ടു) Approach, match, equality; kind, class. അവളോട് ഇ വള്‍ കിടയാകയില്ല; ആ കിടയില്‍ ആരും കാ ണുകയില്ല none like him. ചെറുകിടയില്‍ among the young. ചെറുകിട കച്ചോടം petty merchandise. 2. kaḍu 5. Extreme, excessive (hence കട), fierce, impetuous. — Inf. കടുകട ചൊന്നാന്‍ (ക ടുത്തവാക്യം) KR. — adj. കടിയ (കടി II.), neutr. കടിയതു, കടുതു, കടുതായ സത്യമരുളി CrArj. Bhr. swore a fearful oath. ഇത്ര കടുതോ ഈ കേളു TP. formidable (ഇത്ര കടുതായ = കടുപ്പുളള). കടുതായ്ചുവന്ന VCh. painfully red. II.
