čāḍa T. M. (C. Te. ജാഡു unsubstantial = ചള്ളു) Seedless, empty as husk; faint notice of something, a trace. ചാടയായി പോക to prove abortive, to be blasted, to disappoint.

čir̀u T. Te. C. (C. കിറു, ചിക്ക; Tu. കിനി) = ചെറു Small, in the form ചിററു = ചെററു (comp.). മറെറാരു സാക്ഷി എനിക്കു ചിററില്ല DN. I.

čuruṭṭu T. M. (C. Te. H. ചുട്ടി, fr. ചു രുള്‍തു) 1. A roll; as of tobacco, 'cheroot.' 2. a sheaf എണ്ണച്ചു. sheaves given to temples in lieu of payment. — (1 ചുരുട്ടു = 3 കൈപ്പിടി). ചുരുട്ടത്തല So. curled hair. ചുരുട്ടപ്പാന്പു a small venomous snake coiled up in dry spray (= ചേരട്ട). ചുരുട്ടപ്പം biscuit. ചുരുട്ടുക v. a. to roll up; മുഷ്ടി ചു. čikkuγa T. M. C. Te. 1.
