čaḷi (C. Te. T. cold = തണ്‍) 1. T. So. Mucus (also semen, obsc.) 2. mud, mire; ചളിപ്പതം of mud consistency. ചളിക്ക T. V1. to grow mouldy, rotten. 2. (loc.) = ചലിക്ക. VN. ചളിപ്പു കൈവിട്ടങ്ങെടുത്തു കൈകളാല്‍ Bhr. (= ചലിപ്പു 2).

čir̀aγụ T. M. (= ഇറകു) 1. čāṇaγam T. M. & ചാണം (C. സ ഗണി,, S. ഛഗണം fr. ശകൃല്‍) Cowdung used for manure (വളം) & for തളി (ചാണോക്കലം TP.) ചാണക കുന്തി സമ്മന്തി prov. also ആട്ടി ന്‍റെ ചാ. Nid. ചാ. തേക്കു to cowdung, തളിക്ക to sprinkle the floor. ചാണകവറളി, — വരടി dried cowdung.

čaγaǰoγa (ചെവ്, ചുവ) Looking red. — ചൊകല Palg. (of cattle, dog, sheep).

čīmbuγa l. = ചിന്പുക f.i. കണ്ണു ര ണ്ടു ചീന്പിയും MR. — VN. ചീന്പല്‍ B. The twinkling of the eyes. 2. (ചീ) the eye to be sore. — ചീന്പ്രക്കണ്ണു a small eye. ചീയക്കായി & ചീയങ്ങ see ചീക്കക്കാ യി, ചീനിക്കായി. ചീയാന്‍ see ശിവ്യാന്‍. ചീയാഴി N. pr. Sheally. Sk. ചീയുക see ചീക I. ചീയ്യൈ N. pr. fern.
