ńeḍa (T. നെട) Sound of falling, crashing trees. ഞെടുഞെട ഇടിപോലേ വില്ലിനൊലി RC, അ ടികള്‍ ഞെടുഞെട മുതുകില്‍ ഏല്ക്കും Mud. (ഞെടുങ്ങുക B., No. see നടു —). ഞെടുക്കനേ പറക്കും MC. suddenly.

ńaṇuṇṇuγa So. (C. നഗ്ഗു) To be bulged, crushed. ഞണുക്കുക, ക്കി v. a. to bulge, to crush. ഞണുഞണുക്ക, ത്തു So. To be sticky, clammy.

ńaḷuṇṇuγa (ചുളങ്ങുക, നടുങ്ങു) 1. To shake from damp, fear. 2. to speak diffidently. ഞളുക്ക (C. Te. T. ചളി cold & C. നണ്‍, Tu. നണ്ട) to be affected by cold or damp. മരു ന്നു, ഉപ്പു ഞളുത്തുപോയി, so also a pen, which grows too soft for writing. VN. ഞളുപ്പു, ഞളുപ്പം dampness. ഞള്ളു = ഞെഴുക a tree (med.), the leaves of which are used in തോല്‍ കെട്ടുക.
