C. നീലുഗു, നിഗ്ഗു from നെടു, നിള്‍) To stretch oneself, to strut, ഞെളിഞ്ഞു നടക്ക to walk affectedly, proudly. ആരും സമം ഇല്ല എന്നു ഞെളിഞ്ഞീടും Sah. ശി ഷ്ടപാലകന്‍ എന്നു ഭാവിച്ചിട്ട് ഒട്ടുമേ ഞെളിയേ ണ്ട കൃഷ്ണ SG. ഇന്നേറ ഞെ. ńāǹ (aT. Tu. യാന്‍., T. ńaḷuṇṇuγa (ചുളങ്ങുക, നടുങ്ങു) 1. To shake from damp, fear. 2. to speak diffidently. ഞളുക്ക (C. Te. T. ചളി cold & C. നണ്‍, Tu. നണ്ട) to be affected by cold or damp. മരു ന്നു, ഉപ്പു ഞളുത്തുപോയി, so also a pen, which grows too soft for writing. VN. ഞളുപ്പു, ഞളുപ്പം dampness. ഞള്ളു = ഞെഴുക a tree (med.), the leaves of which are used in തോല്‍ കെട്ടുക.

ńēṇṇōl (T. ഞാഞ്ചില്‍, M. നേ ഞ്ഞില്‍, Te. നാഗില്‍, C. നേഗില്‍, Tu. നായര്‍) 1.Plough-shaft ഞേ. നുകത്തോടു ചേര്‍ത്തു കെട്ടി (Cann.). 2. = മുസലം a weapon, prh. ploughshare, Bhg. 3. a constellation മുഴക്കോല്‍ rising in Dhanu an hour aftor sunset & indicating the time for treading the wheel previous to sowing (see ചക്രം ചവിട്ടുക).

To become soft or mellow, malleable as gold. 2. to yield, sink. ഞെക്കുക (V1. ഞെള്‍ക്കുക = ഞെരുക്കു) 1. to press, strangle (Tu. നുക്കു). കഴുത്തു ഞെക്കുന്ന ദേ ഹരോഗം a. med. പിടിച്ചപ്പോള്‍ ഞെക്കീടാ ഞ്ഞാല്‍ prov. 2. to squeeze, crush, നഖ ത്തില്‍ ആക്കി ഞെക്കിക്കൊന്നു (a louse); to make impressions with the thumb. ഞെക്കിപ്പ ഴുപ്പിച്ച പഴം പോലെ prov.; ഞെക്കിനോക്ക.
