ńāǹ (aT. Tu. യാന്‍., T. C. നാന്‍, Te. നേന്‍) I. ഞാങ്കാലം prov. in my time. ഞാന്നീ യായിട്ടു മേല്‍കോയ്മസ്ഥാനം നടത്തി KU. with identified interests. pl. ഞാങ്ങള്‍ old & hon. = ഞങ്ങള്‍ we; even in obl. cases, ഞാങ്ങളെകൈക്കു TR. (Rāja), vu. ഞാളു, Dat. ഞാക്കു TP. The other pl. is നാം (including the addressed party), with vu. Dat. ഞമ്മള്‍ക്കു.

ńer̀i (C. Tu. നെരി) 1. Fold, tuck. 2. (T. M. നെറി) way. ദീനെ ഞെ. യായി നടത്തി Ti. = വഴിക്കേ properly. അവന്‍റെ കാര്യത്തിന്നു ന ല്ല ഞെറിയുണ്ടു = ചട്ടം, ക്രമം. (No.) ഞെറിക്കോവ flounces or frills of Ola or flowers round the head, neck waist of devil's-dancers in കെട്ടിയാട്ടം q. v. ഞെറിയുക (V1. also ഞൊ —; see നെറി) to plait, to tuck or fold a cloth, esp. as for idols ഞെറിഞ്ഞു കൊടുക്ക; women ചേല ഞെറി ഞ്ഞുടുക്ക V1. (mantr.), tucking in their cloth in folds on either side (So.) or in front (Cal.). എന്നുടെ ചേല ഞെറിഞ്ഞു തരേ ണം നീ CG. അരയില്‍ നേരിയ വസ്ത്രം ഞെ റിഞ്ഞങ്ങുടുപ്പിച്ചു DN. — to wrinkle, frown. ഞെറിഞ്ഞു പുരികഞ്ഞള്‍ Mud. he knitted his brows. — so also ഞെറിക്ക, ഞെറിപ്പു V1. ഞെറുകല്‍ B. — A peculiar sensation in the limbs announcing a sickness.

ട and the other linguals are hardly found as initials in Mal. words.

ńamuṇṇuγa (T. ഞെ —) To yield to pressure, to sink, bulge = ഞണുങ്ങു So.

ńāyar̀ụ & ഞായിറു T. M. (C. നേ സരു) 1. The sun = നേരം, hence പടിഞ്ഞാറു. 2. month കര്‍ക്കടഞ്ഞായററില്‍, vu. ഞാററില്‍ (doc.) തിരുവാതിരഞായററു നില TrP. the sun's position in a constellation. ഞായറാഴ്ച, ഞാറാഴ്ച Sunday (ഞായ൪വാരേ PP. — in Tu. ആയിററാര), ആഴ്ചതോറും Pay.

ńeḷḷụ T. M. Imitative sound = ഞെട്ടു; bamboos splitting in a wrong direction ഞെളളി പോയി.

ńāṇal (T. നാ — C. Te. fr. നാന്‍ = ന ന) A reed തീരേവാഴും ഞാ'ലില്‍ Sk. = ശരം.
