To spring up മനസ്സില്‍ കൃപ തോന്നി, നിങ്ങള്‍ക്കു നമ്മോട് ഒരു കൃപ തോ ന്നാതേ TR. കഥ മനസ്സില്‍ തോ. to occur, strike, സദാ മാനസേ നിന്‍രൂപം തോന്നേണം AR. അനിഷ്ടം, ഭയം തോ. etc. — to turn out well. അസ്ത്രങ്ങള്‍ തോന്നാതേ പോക Bhr. may they never hit! ദിവ്യാസ്ത്രങ്ങള്‍ ഒന്നും വഴിയേ തോ ന്നീല്ല Bhr. would not answer. 2. to appear to the sight. അടുത്തുള്ളതു ദൂരേയും ദൂരയുള്ളതടു ക്കേയും തോന്നും Nid. — to seem ചിന്തിക്കില്‍ കല്ലെന്നു തോന്നും CG. might be taken for a stone. So in comparison often സത്യം എന്നി ങ്ങനേ തോന്നുംവണ്ണം CG. so as to make one think, it true. 3. to come into the mind മറ ന്നിതോ തോന്നുന്നിതോ ഹൃദി KR.; സംഗമം തോ ന്നീല്ല ഏതും Bhr. could not remember, ഒന്നും തോന്നാതേ നടന്നു ദേശാന്തരം VetC. without a thought.
