tavvu, & തബ്ബു (= തകുവു, തക്കം; C. ത വെ side; again) = തവണ. In M. a fixed time, term 1. No. in തവ്വുതോറും (doc.) i. e. ഓണം & വിഷു, the time for paying the കുടിപണം to the Janmi. 2. (മിഥുനം to കന്നി excepted) the time for paying the monthly installments of Govt. taxes, കുത്തുക etc.; ഇത്ര തവ്വായി തന്നുകൊ ള്ളാം So. = ഗഡു. 3.
