tōṭṭam 5. (തൊടി, തൊടുവ) A garden തോ. തോറും വാഴ prov. (വെള്ളത്തോട്ടം = വ യല്‍, opp. കരത്തോട്ടം). തോട്ടക്കാരന്‍ a gardener. തോട്ടക്കുല the best plantain bunch (to Janmi). തോട്ടപ്പുഴ B. a grub.
