tāvaḍam (T. താഴ്വടം, C.Te. താവ ളം) A necklace of gold, pearls, etc. hanging very low (താഴ്). താലിക്കു മീതേ ഇത്താ. ചേര്‍ത്ത തു CG., പൊന്താവടം etc.

tuṇḍam T. M. C. Te. & തുണ്ടു 5. (തു ണി) A piece, bit, slice. തു'ങ്ങളാക്കി MC. tore to pieces. ചേര തിന്നുന്ന നാട്ടില്‍ ചെന്നാല്‍ നടു ത്തുണ്ടം തിന്നോളു prov. ഒാലത്തുണ്ടം a shred of leaf. tīru, തുര്‍ 5. (either from തികര്‍, see തി കയു; or better from തിരു, I. to turn) 1.
