tilam S. Sesamum Indicum = എള്‍; തില മാത്രം = എള്‍ പ്രമാണം; തിലഹോമം PR. തിലകം 1. a natural mark on the body (മറു). 2. an ornamental mark on the forehead തൊ ടുകുറി). കുങ്കുമത്തിലകം തൊട്ടു Bhr. (a woman dressing). പച്ചത്തി. ആക്കുക tattooing. 3. the ornament or chiefest of its kind, കുലതി ലകന്‍, മനുജവരമണിമകുടതിലകന്‍ Bhr. തിലകിതം (തിലകം 2.) marked with Tilakam, തിലകിതഫാലം Bhr.; (തി. 3) ശുകകുലവിമ ലതിലകിതകളേബരേ AR. തിലജം = തൈലം oil, തിലജദ്രോണിയിന്നെടു ത്തു ഭൂപനേ KR.; so തിലരസം AR. oil. തിലോത്തമ N. pr. a celestial woman, that possesses all perfections in extracts of each to the size of a sesam-grain. tuyil T. aM. (=തൂങ്ങുക) 1. Sleep, തു യിലുറങ്ങാള്‍ Pay. she cannot sleep. പാലാഴി യില്‍ തുയില്‍ കൊള്ളുന്ന Bhr. തുയില്‍ ഒഴിന്തെ ഴു മന്നാ RC. (said to the dead Rāvaṇa). പെരി ന്തുയില്‍ Anj. death. 2. = തുകില്‍ cloth, പട്ടുടു ത്ത് ഒററത്തൊയിലും വെച്ചുTP. തുയിലുക to sleep. ഇകലില്‍ തുയിലുമതു ഒരു കൂ റല്ല RC. it is not right to sleep in war. അര വില്‍ തുയിലുന്ന RC., അരവില്‍ തുയിലും കൃ ഷ്ണന്‍ Pay.

taṇḍalar (അലര്‍, see തണ്ടാര്‍) Lotus-flower, ത. പൊയ്കയില്‍ CC.; ത. ശരന്‍ Kāma; തണ്ടലര്‍ബാണം ഏററു Mud.

tuǹbụ (തുനി C Te., തുന്പു C. footstalk, തുബബു to be found out) 1. An extremity, end of a rope or string കൊന്പിന്‍റെ,ചെവിയുടെ തുന്പു MC. തു. കൊടുക്ക to give a handle, തു. പിടിക്ക to get into a discussion. 2. clue, trace. ഉണ്ടാമതിനുള്ള തു. CC. get a clue. ഇതി ന്‍റെ തു. അറിവാന്‍ TR. to ferret it out. qs. തു. അറിയാതേ പറഞ്ഞു spoke not to the purpose, got adrift. വീടു ചുട്ട ആള്‍ വഴിപോലേ തുന്പാ യിട്ടില്ല TR. could not be found out. ഇല്ലാത്ത തു. കള്‍ ഉണ്ടാക്കി by false evidences. അതി ന്‍റെ നേരും വഴിയും തുന്പും വിസ്മരിക്കാതേ TR.; കട്ട മുതല്‍ അവന്‍റെ കൈവശമുള്ളപ്രകാരം തു ന്പു കിട്ടി Arb. articles were traced to him. അ തിന്‍റെ ആളെ തുന്പുനോക്കി TR. tried to find out the guilty person. തുന്പുണ്ടാക്കി proved. 3. right, claim, duty. വകമേല്‍ ചെല്ലുവാന്‍ തു ന്പില്ല TR. has no right to the estate. അന്‍പ ററാല്‍ തുന്‍പററു prov.; അവനോടു തു. അറുത്ത് എടുത്ത (or വാങ്ങിയ) പ്രമാണം TR. (see തുന്പു മുറി). തുന്പുകെട്ടു നടന്നു led an unprincipled life. Hence: തുന്പറുക്ക to break off a connexion. തുന്പില്ലാതേ പറക to speak, what is groundless, useless, driftless; to babble. തുന്പില്ലാത്തവന്‍ (2) an ignorant; a booby. തുന്പുമുറി (3) a certificate given by a proprietor to the holder of his land, that he has sold his right to another; also a writ of the tenant transferring his occupancy to another, W. രാമനു സമ്മതിച്ചു കൊടുത്തതു. TR.

tāraδamyam S. (തര + തമ) The more or less ഏററക്കുറവു; nice distinction of degrees. അതിഥികളുടെ താ'ങ്ങള്‍ അറിക, അ തിലേ താ. അറിവതിന്നു KR. gradation.

teriγa M. Tu,(T. തിരണ) A pad to put under vessels or for the head to carry burdens, ആനെക്കു കുതിര തെരിക prov.
