taḍuppụ (C. Te. chiefly wet cloth, C. ദഡുപ്പു suit of clothes) Foreign cloth, as worn by Māppiḷḷachis, (of മാതിരിപ്പാടു).

tēmbuγa M. T. (to wither, fade) = തേയുക 1. To waste, grow thin തേന്പും അശു ദ്ധി Bhg.; പുല്ലുപോലേ തേന്പും (po.) Esp. neg. തേന്പാത കാന്തിലകലര്‍ന്നുള്ളൊരാണ്‍പൈതല്‍ ഉ ണ്ടാം, താംബൂലത്തിന്‍ തേന്പാതേനിന്ന രസം, തേന്പാതേ നിന്നുള്ള തിങ്കള്‍ CG. = not waning. തേന്പാതേ ചാടും resolutely? 2. Palg. മണ്ണു തേന്പുക to fill up crevices & broken down plaster (of a wall). തേന്പാവു (തേന്‍?) a timber tree B. തേയാന്തിരിയായി പോക TP. = ദേശാ —. തേയില Port., Dutch. Tea = ചാ.

tukkuγa (T.to eat) = ഇരന്നു ന ടക്ക. A beggar is called തുക്കി or തുക്കിപ്പെറു ക്കി (loc.); പെറുക്കിത്തുക്കിനായി (No., abuse).

tūšaǹ (fr. foll, or C. തുസു little) Pointed, spare, as തൂശനില=നാക്കില.

teruḷaγa T. To acquire clear perception (= തെരി). തെരുണ്ട പെണ്‍ = തിരണ്ട q. v. — Hence തെരുട്ടുക T. to acquaint, M. a part of the grand ceremony (തിരട്ടുകല്യാണം) performed with girls. തെര്‍പ്പ Tdbh. = ദര്‍ഭ.

tuṇi T. M. (= തുണ്ടു) 1. Piece, rag. aM. തു. യായെയ്തു വീഴ്ത്തി, മല തുണിചെയ്തു RC. = തു ണ്ടിച്ചു. 2. cloth, തുണിയും മുണ്ടും prov.; എന്നെ ഒററത്തുണിയോടേ ഓട്ടി KR. banished me with one cloth. പല തുണിത്തരങ്ങള്‍ TR.; esp. women's cloth, ൧൦ മുഴം Anach. (=പുടവ). എന്നെക്കൊണ്ട അവളുടെ തലയും തു. യും കഴി പ്പാന്‍ കഴിയായ്കയാല്‍ ഉപേക്ഷിച്ചതു her support. തുണിയുക v. n. T. C. aM. to cut short, decide, venture (=mod. തുനിയുക), മറഞ്ഞുകളഞ്ഞു പുനരപി ചാകത്തുണിഞ്ഞു കളിക്കുന്നൊരു മൃഗം KR.

tōtram S. (തുദ് to sting). A goad, also: തോദനം = തോട്ടി. — തോദം = കുത്തു.

tarṇam S. (തരുണം). & — കം A calf. തര്‍ണ്ണകപാലന്‍ Sah. a calf-herd.

toḷḷu (cavity?) A maund of rice, gram, etc. = മൂട (loc.)
