tāvaḍam (T. താഴ്വടം, C.Te. താവ ളം) A necklace of gold, pearls, etc. hanging very low (താഴ്). താലിക്കു മീതേ ഇത്താ. ചേര്‍ത്ത തു CG., പൊന്താവടം etc.

tāvaḍi (T. invasion, foray താവുക). A feast of Bhagavati (1-10 Mēḍam), during which disorders are winked at by the native authorities.

tuvaruγa 1. To grow dry, മഴതു.; V1. തുവര്‍ച്ച, (contr. No. തോര്‍ച്ച & often confounded with ചോര്‍ച്ച) fair weather. 2. toṭṭil 5. (തൊട്ടു‍ + ഇല്‍) A cradle. പൊ ന്നുകൊണ്ട് ഒരു തൊട്ടിലും കുട്ടിയും തരുവന്‍ SG. (a vow before child-birth). തൊട്ടില്‍പാട്ടു a lullaby. തൊ'ലേശീലം (see ചുടല).
