M. C. Tu. kitchen-utensils, household stuff. — ത. പറക to object, oppose. തട്ടും മുട്ടും കൂടാതെ without any hindrance. തട്ടുവാണിഭം So. trade in jewels, looking-glasses, etc. തട്ടൊത്ത plain, ത. നിലം a plain, ത'ത്തീടും ഭു വനത്രയം Anj. the 3 worlds arranged as if in tiers. II.

tar̀uγa T. M. Te. (C. തര്‍ഗു = തഴു) to sink, sink in. —1. To trickle down as water not poured right out B. 2. വാല്‍ തററിരിക്ക MC. to put the tail between the legs, പേടിച്ചു വാലുംതററി മണ്ടിയേന്‍ SiPu. 3. to be tucked in before & behind (= താറു), തററുടുക്ക to put on clothes by tucking in as Nambūris, native women, etc. കുഞ്ഞനും തററിങ്ങുടുക്കുന്നു TP. (for swimming). തറുതല T. So. No. low, trifling, fool-hardy, mischievousness. ത. പറക to speak indirectly, evasively. തറുതലക്കാരന്‍ a mischievous & fool-hardy man. തറുപ്പു V1. a brush. തറുവാങ്കം a. med. = സര്‍വ്വാംഗം.

Tdbh.; ശ്രീ in N. pr. of offices, dynasties etc. കോലത്തിരി, നന്പൂതിരി, തളിയാതിരി etc. At the end of words as തിരു II. at their head.

tuniyuγa, (fr. തുണിയുക q. v.) To hazard, resolve, venture അടിപ്പാന്‍ തുനിയുമ ളവു Vil.; ചൂതിനു തു. Nal. — Also with Acc. ആ കാത കാര്യം തുനിയായ്കവേണം CC. to attempt. തുനിവു VN. തുനിപു 1. resolution, daring. 2. clue = തുന്‍പു.
