naǹ-ǹār̀i (T. — രി) Periploca Indica, also നറുനീണ്ടി. A kind: പെരു ന. Echites frutescens. (see നന്‍ 2.)

nēδāvụ S. (നീ) A leader = നായകന്‍. നേത്രം S. the eye = നയനം, as നേത്രഗോച രം Bhg. within reach of the eye. നേത്രന്‍ = കണ്ണന്‍ having eyes, f. i. അര്‍ണ്ണോജ—, അംബുജ —, ഉല്പല —, പുഷ്കര —, etc. AR. nūr̀ụ 5. (നുറുങ്ങുക) 1. Powder, esp. powdered lime നീറു, as used for chewing. നൂററി ന്‍ഗുണം GP 78. നൂറും പാലും കൊടുക്കേണം PR. propitiation of snakes; starch (കൂവനൂറു = ഊറല്‍). ഭവനം നൂര്‍ തേച്ചു whitewashed. 2. hundred നൂറുനൂറാക്കി മുറിച്ചു Sk.; ശൂലം നൂറു നുറുങ്ങി etc. (dust = hundred). Obl. c. നൂ ററാണ്ടു 100 years, നൂറെറാന്നുതലകള്‍ AR. — Dat. നുററിന്നു & നൂര്‍ക്കു (loc). മുപ്പത്താറുനൂറു CS. = 3600. നൂറായിരം Mud. Used (= പത്തു‍) as a first step to higher numbers ഒന്നൂറു മൂവായി രം നായന്മാര്‍ TP. നൂറങ്കിഴങ്ങു (1) Dioscorea pentaphylla. Rh.; ചെകരി നൂ.
