Ganga. പെരിങ്ങളോനാണ്ടപുഴനീന്തേണം TP. an ordeal. പുഴക്കലോളം വന്നു vu. 2. So. a gap in a wall = കണ്ടി. പുഴക്കലേഗ്രാമം (ചിററൂര്‍അംശം, തെക്കേത്തറ) N. pr. of a Grāmam which was founded and given over by Tunǰatte/?/uttaččaǹ in the 17th century A.D. to a few Brahman families on condition that they preserve & reverence his writings copied by his daughter. The Bhāgavatam excepted all the originals were burned in a fire 30-40 years ago and have since been replaced.

(ഫലം?) interest on money (on rice പൊലു) generally 10 pct. തികപ. (=നേര്‍പ. 583), even 12 pct. (മര്യാദപ്രകാരമുളള പ.), മാസപ്പ. The കാ ലപ്പ. yearly interest; when from കാണം, it amounts to 5 pct. (അരപ. f. i. അരപലിശ കണ്ടു 7½ ഇടങ്ങാഴി നെല്ലു പ. പിടിച്ചു doc. MR.) or 2½ pct. (കാല്‍. പ. even മാകാണിപ്പ.) paid in rice at the rate of 5 Iḍangā/?/is for 1 fanam. Formerly for each fanam mortgage-money the yearly interest was 1 നാഴി നെല്ലു (= 4 pct.). പലിശമുടങ്ങിക്കിടന്നുപോയാല്‍ VyM. interest not being paid. പലിശക്കൂററു & പലിശമണിക്കൂററു (1) noise of the shield പലിശ തുടെക്കമര്‍ത്തുTP. പലിശ മടക്കം (2) a deed of mortgage in which the rent of the estate transferred to the mortgagee is equal to the interest of the loan പലിശ മടക്ക ഓലക്കരണം W.

puḷḷi T. M. (= പുള്ളടി? C. Te. Puḷḷi, a thin piece of grass, straw = പുല്ക്കൊടി). 1. A dot, spot, point പൂച്ചത്തോലില്‍ പു. കുത്തി പു ലിത്തോല്‍ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു VyM. പു. യുള്ളൊരു പട്ടും തരുവാന്‍ SG. (= വീരാളിപ്പട്ടു). പു. പു. യാ യിരിക്ക to be much spotted. ആരിയപ്പു. a kind of spots on cattle. കടകം പുള്ളിക്കാള with spots on the neck, belly & feet (claimed by Rājas) — (also N. pr. of places f. i. പരുത്തി പ്പുള്ളി). 2. the mark s in gram., the vowel എ. 3. a cipher, nought. 4. an article or person, and their valuation. ചെറു പു. a trifle. — പാറാപ്പു. a prisoner. പുള്ളിക്കാരന്‍ (4), നല്ല പു. a man of note, influential = തറവാട്ടുകാരന്‍. — പു'ക്കാര്‍ Trav. tax-payers. — പുള്ളിക്കാരത്തി f. = തറവാട്ടുകാര ത്തി, also beautiful. പുള്ളിക്ക V1. to be spotted, speckled. പുള്ളിക്കുത്തു flaw in cloth, etc. പുള്ളിച്ചി f. (1) M. spotted f. i. പു. പ്പശു. പുള്ളിത്താപ്പു a private mark of price on cloth. പുള്ളിപ്പുലി a leopard; this as well as പുള്ളി നരി are considered royal property KU. പുള്ളിപ്പുലിയന്‍ N. pr. a Paradēvata. പുള്ളിമാന്‍ a spotted deer. പു'ങ്കണ്ണി SiPu. പു' ങ്കരനു പോലുമാമല്ല RC. to Siva, — also പു ള്ളിമറിമാന്‍ Sil. പുള്ളിവസത്രം spotted cloth as given after പുങ്ങം. പുള്ളിവിളക്കം So. 1. examination of accounts. 2. registration of anything in the names of persons after ascertaining their rights.
