paṭṭiγa 5. S. ( = പത്രിക, fr. പട്ടം); 1. A band, ligature. സൂത്രപ. a metal clasp; esp. a lath, shingle (of wood, വാരി of bamboo); പ. തറെക്ക. 2. a list മുതല്‍വിവരം പട്ടിക MR.; ജമാപന്തിപ്പ. TR. any catalogue, indenture, voucher, etc. കാര്യസ്ഥന്മാരുടെ മാസപ്പടിപ്പ., സാദില്‍വാരപ്പ. etc. നാട്ടുപ. a map. പട്ടികയാണി a nail for laths. പട്ടികയോടു flat tiles.

pāyasam S. (പയസ്സ്). 1. Rice boiled in milk = പാല്‍ച്ചോറു, ഹേമപാത്രസ്ഥമായ പായസം AR.; a meal in a temple പാല്‍പാ. ചരക്കില്‍ വെച്ചു vu. പായതച്ചോററിന്നിരിക്ക TP. 2. a vow ആഴിവര്‍ണ്ണനു പായസ്സം പതി നാറു കഴിപ്പന്‍ SG. (gen. പണപ്പായസം).

pariyam T. M. Tdbh.; സ്പര്‍ശം 'connection'. 1. The back part of a house വീട്ടിന്‍റെ പയ്യാന്പുറത്തു Arb. പരിയത്തിരിക്ക to be about the house. പരിയത്തു പോക to ease nature (in the garden). VN. പക്തി 1. division, പ. യിടുക to divide. പ. കഴിഞ്ഞു KU. the distribution was over. മുതല്‍ക്കാര്യം പ. കഴിക്ക‍ TR., മുതല്‍ പ. ചെ യ്തു MR. 2. a share ദായഭാഗം = ദായാദിക്കാ രുടെ പ. pūrikka (പൂരം) S. To fill v. a. പാത്രം തന്നില്‍ ഗോമയം പൂരിച്ചു പിന്നേ പൊ തിഞ്ഞു കെട്ടി; പൂജിച്ചു സേവയേ പൂ. CG. to accomplish, ഇച്ചൊന്ന കാരിയം പൂരിയാതേ CG. പാപത്തെ പൂരിപ്പാന്‍ പൊകൊല്ല to commit. 2. v. n. to be full നാട്ടില്‍ അനര്‍ത്ഥങ്ങള്‍ പൂരി ക്കുന്നു SG. = നിറയുന്നു, so പൂരിച്ചിതന്പുകൊ

poδuboδē B. An imitative sound (= പൊത്തനേ). പൊതുക്കുക, ക്കി 1. So. No. to smooth a mud-bank etc. by wetting & beating it gently തച്ചു പൊ. No. (or പുതുക്കുക?). 2. No പൊതുക്കിക്കെട്ടുക to tie loosely, lightly (= അഴെച്ചു).
