pōγaḍam Tdbh. of ഭോഗം + കടം (C. pogadi, tribute? or fr. പോക?). The rent or tribute due to the Janmi on the tenure of കുടുമനീര്‍, gen. called ദേശപോകടം (ജന്മ ഭോഗം ദേശപോകടം തുടങ്ങിയുളളവ VyM.) f. i. പത്തു തേങ്ങയും ഒരു ചക്കയും കുലയടക്കയും ദേശപോടകനു (പോഷകന്‍?) തട്ടും തയിരും ഇങ്ങനേ ദേശപോകടങ്ങള്‍ എന്നറിക KU.; നി ലം വാങ്ങി ൩ കൊല്ലമായി സ്വന്തമായി നടന്നു പോകടങ്ങള്‍ കൊടുത്തുവരിക, നികിതി പോ' ങ്ങളും കഴിപ്പാന്‍ MR.

panaṭṭnγa (T. പിനററുക). To cackle as a hen, B. പനന്പു = പരന്പു V2., hence പനന്പുവള്ളി Wild rattan, Flagellaria Indica, Rh.

paǹičči T. M. (So. പനച്ചി, fr. പനി a drop, see പനെക്ക). An ebony from which a glue is obtained, Diospyros embryopteris, glutinifera S. തിന്ദുകം. Kinds: കാക്കപ്പ. Diospyros tomentosa or a Menispermum; ചെറുപ. Diosp. chloroxylon (ചെറുപ. ഇല ഒരു പിടി MM., ചെറു കോല്‍പ.
