palāliya No. = പല (ക) & അലുവ. A sweetmeat (വറുത്തരി spread on a board & liquid sugar poured over it, when it is levelled with a brass dish).

Porḷāδiri, & പൊറളാതിരി പൊര്‍ളളാ — Title of the Kaḍattuwa Rāja, പൊ. ഉദയവര്‍മ്മരാജാവവര്‍കള്‍ TR. 1796. KU., see പോലനാടു. In T. പൊറയന്‍ is title of Chēra kings (fr. പൊറ mountain). പൊറത്തിയ തങ്ങള്‍ N. pr. A Māpiḷḷachief, Kōya KU.
