(with forelock) ranking with Kšatriyas, also മുക്കാണിയര്‍. — നാട്ടു പ. children of a foreign Br. from a Nambūri wife. Anach. ദേശികര്‍, വടമര്‍. പട്ടച്ചോമാതിരി see under പട്ടം. പട്ടത്തിരി (& ഭ.) the highest class of Nambūis, very learned, അന്തര്‍ജ്ജനത്തെ വിധിച്ചു പുറ ത്താക്കിയപ. To come, go along, return ഇങ്ങോട്ടു പോരികേ വേണ്ടു, ഞാന്‍ നി ന്‍റെ കൂടേ ബംബായില്‍ പോരുന്നു TR.; ഒരു മോഹം കൊണ്ട് അങ്ങോട്ടു ചാടിയാല്‍ പല മോ ഹം കൊണ്ടിങ്ങോട്ടു പോരുമോ prov.; കൈ, കാള പോരുന്നില്ല No. is jammed in, sticks fast (cannot get the arm out of the sleeve, the shoes off the feet) etc. പോരാതേ പോയി Anj. went away no more to return. പോരേ നീ Bhr. go home, ഏല്പിച്ചു പോന്നു Mud. came away after. എടുത്തു കൊണ്ടു പോരാം (= വരാം). വഴിയോട്ടു പോരാതേ കണ്ടു നിന്നു മരിച്ചു TR. would not draw back. Sometimes superfluous ബ്രാഹ്മ ണര്‍ കേരളത്തിങ്കല്‍ പോന്നു വന്നു KU. immigrated. 2. to suit, suffice, amount to തല്ലു വാന്‍ പോരാത പൈതല്‍ CG. not old enough to be flogged. രഹസ്യം പറവതു പോരാ മഹാ രഥന്മാര്‍ക്കു Bhr. does not become. മംഗലസ്ഥാ നപ്രവേശത്തിന്നു പോരും ഇവള്‍ SiPu. is fit for heaven. നിന്നെ പോലേ ചൊല്ലുവാന്‍ ആരും പോരാ Nal. none so competent to tell. ഇതു വീളാന്‍ നിന്നാല്‍ പോരും എങ്കില്‍ KU. if you can avenge. അടക്കുവാന്‍ പോരുവോര്‍ CG. വീ ര്യം അടക്കുവാന്‍ പോന്നവര്‍ AR. able. ഞാവല്‍

pūnduγa So. (fr. പൂഴു). To sink in the ground, വിശിഖം പൂന്തി ChS. പൂത്തു, കുഴിപ്പൂത്തു So. a grave. v. a. പൂത്തുക (പൂഴ്ത്തുക) 1. to press into ചവിട്ടിച്ചളി യില്‍ പൂത്തും MR.
