muččūḍum No. T. (T. മുററൂടും) All over, everywhere (C. Tu. മുച്ചു to cover, shut).

maǹǰa (compare മഞ്ചി). 1. A great oil-trough (a coffin V1.), പത്താഴവും മ. യും ചെ ല്ലവും Anj. അംഗുലീയം അടയാളമായി ഭണ്ഡാര മ. യില്‍ വെക്ക Mud. into the treasure box. 2. a sluice; large hole in old trees മ. യായി, മഞ്ചപ്പെട്ടു പോക trees to rot, become hollow. 3. a trap എലിമ.; also മഞ്ചിക കെണിക്ക V1. to entrap. കള്ളികൊണ്ടു മഞ്ച ചമെച്ചു a. med.

mōṇṇụ Kaḍ. (So. മാര്‍ങ്ങ). Plantain-suckers when very small (see കന്നു 2, 203). (നേന്ത്രമോങ്ങ് are not transplanted but boiled & eaten).

mokkaḷam No. (Mpl. മൊക്കു, loc. T. മൊക്കൈ a notch). A hollow in the edge or gunwale of a boat to insert a pin (= thole-pin), to which the oar is hooked.
