(an ordeal); fig. ചോര യാല്‍ Brhmd. to bleed all over. കടത്തില്‍, പര മാനനന്ദത്തില്‍ KR. ഭക്തിയില്‍ മു. GnP. അതി ങ്കല്‍ മു. യില്ല won't plunge into it, hesitates. mokkaḷam No. (Mpl. മൊക്കു, loc. T. മൊക്കൈ a notch). A hollow in the edge or gunwale of a boat to insert a pin (= thole-pin), to which the oar is hooked.
