maǹǰu 1. = മഞ്ചി f. i. മഞ്ചില്‍ കയററി TR. 2. = മഞ്ഞു.

mūšēṭṭa (മൂ 1., ജ്യേഷ്ഠ) = മൂദേവി, So. Uncleanness.

muru (T. Te. tender, fine or മുരം rugged). An oyster, മുരിക V1., മുരുങ്ങ MC. B. (= ആളി). മുരുതോടു an oyster shell. മുരുകെട്ടുക, പിടിക്ക adhering of oysters, barnacles, etc. to rocks, timber, vessels (foul bottom). മുരുകന്‍ (T. younger son), Subrahmaṇya Sk. — N. pr. m. of Nāyars മു., മുരുകാണ്ടി, മുരു കേലന്‍ of I/?/avars. മുരുചി perh. mīr̀uγa 5. (മീ or മുകറു). 1. To exceed, transgress പറഞ്ഞ പടി മീറാതേ Mapl. song; Palg. വാക്കു മീറി നടക്ക. 2. (മിറ) to rage.

mōδuγa 5. To dash against. മോത Tu. No. a surge, rising of waves (smaller than തിര & larger than ഓളം; ഒളം മോ തുകയില്ല). മോതവീഴുക No. to ship a sea; fig. കോപത്തിന്‍റെ മോതെക്കു ഞാന്‍ ചെ ന്നതു at the height of his anger. മോത്തു = മുഖത്തു TP.

muččūḍum No. T. (T. മുററൂടും) All over, everywhere (C. Tu. മുച്ചു to cover, shut).

madīyam S. My, mine (മല്‍).

mukkāḍi (മു, 2. or മുക്കു). 1. A crossway; ford. 2. a place of Mukkuwas കോവി ല്കണ്ടി മു. MR. മുക്കാടു 1. T. So. a veil over the head & face. 2. = മുക്കാടി (മു 2) മുക്കാണി (കാണി) a fraction 3/80. മുക്കാണിയന്‍ a class of Brahmans with the forelock, Palg. (fr. തൃച്ചന്തൂര്‍). മുക്കാതം three kāδam.

mukkaḷam (മുഷ്കു, C. മുക്കു). Fullness of blood. ചോരമു. turgid, well fed, wanton state.
