mār̀uγa 5.(മാറു). 1. v. n. To scratch with nails, claws, dig with the hand (with hoofs ചുര മാന്തുക horses, cattle, pigs), നായി വാതു ക്കല്‍, വാതില്ക്കു മാ'ന്നു TP. മൂരി കുളന്പിനാല്‍ മാ., പന്നി മാ., പൂച്ച പിടിച്ചു മാന്തിയൂട്ടു etc. മറ ചെയ്ത ശവം മാന്തി എടുപ്പിച്ചു TR. exhumed.
