(vu. മിണ്ടിവീക്കം). മുണ്ടിയന്‍ a forest deity said to afflict cattle & to be appeased by the killing of fowls & sheep (in great numbers near Nēmāri മു. കാവു) Palg. മുണ്ടിച്ചി 1. = മുണ്ടച്ചി a widow. 2. mēruṇṇuγa (Te. melugu & medugu, to associate with) = മരുങ്ങുക. To be tamed, attached കല്പകപ്പൂമലര്‍ നണ്ണിനവണ്ടു താന്‍ മ റ്റൊരു പൂവില്‍ മെരിങ്ങുമോ താന്‍ CG. v. a. മെരുക്കുക f. i. കാട്ടാനയെ to tame = മ രുക്കുക. VN. മെരിക്കം = മരുക്കം. മെരുവം Tdbh. = മൃഗം (huntg.).
