šab/?/aḷam S. Variegated ശബളതരമായ മാല Mud. മലകൃമിശബളമലിനം Nal. (ശൂലം ശബളവും SiPu., see ചവളം). In VyM. ധനം is three-fold ശുക്ലം, കൃഷ്ണം, ശബളം.

šlēam S. (ശ്ലിഷ്). 1. Contact, embrace. 2. association, paronomasia, irony ശ്ലേഷവാക്യം, — കാവ്യം. ശ്ലേഷ്മം S. phlegm = കഫം (in the human body ആറു നാഴി VCh.). ചുലേണ്ണം, ചിലേഴ് മ്മം a. med.; also ശ്ലേ'ത്തിന്നും പററിയാല്‍ Nid. 20 ജാതിയുള്ള ശ്ലേ'ത്തിന്നും ഇരിപ്പിടം ദേ ഹം AdwS. ശ്ലേഷ്മജ്വരം phlegmatic fever, — നാഡി low pulse, — വ്യധി phthisis. ശ്ലേഷ്മാതകം S. Cordia myxa = നറുവരി f. i. ശ്ലേ. കൊണ്ട് ഒരു യൂപം KR.

šaktaǹ S. (p. p. of ശക്; G. kikys). Capable, able, strong യുദ്ധത്തിന്നു ശ'നല്ലാതേ യായി Sk. ശാപാനുഗ്രഹശ. Bhr. ശക്തി S. 1. Brahmans offer milk, Kshatriyas ghee, Vaišyas honey, Sūdras spirits. They have a technical language of their own,
