šauǰam S. (ശുചി). 1. Cleansing, ablution esp. after easing nature, hence ശൌ ചത്തിന്നു പോക, ശൌചാചാരം = ബാഹ്യത്തി ന്നു 2. purity സത്യശൌചാദിഗുണങ്ങളും KR. denV. ശൌചിക്ക to ease nature, — ക്കാഞ്ഞാല്‍ prov. നഗ്നനായിശൌ'യും VCh. (forbidden), — പ്പാന്‍ പോക vu.

šińǰiδam S. Tinkling as of metal-ornaments, anklet, bow, etc. മഞ്ജീരത്തിന്‍ (772) ശി'മായുള്ള ഹംസനാദം CG. — ശിഞ്ജിനി താഡനം ചെയ്തു Sk. bow-string.

šanuam S. (ശരണം). Happiness ധര്‍മ്മ ങ്ങള്‍ ചെയ്താല്‍ ശ. ഉള്ളു സുരാലയേ, ലോകര്‍ക്കു ശര്‍മ്മലാഭത്തിന്നു വേണ്ടുന്ന ദിക് Nal. heaven. ശര്‍മ്മസാധനം Bhr. — ശര്‍മ്മവിലാപം ചെയ്തു VetC. took a tender farewell. ശര്‍മ്മന്‍, like വര്‍മ്മന്‍ added to the names of Brahmans & Mal. Rājas.
