Part. pres. ഭക്ത്യാ പുകഴ്ത്തുന്ന കേള്‍ക്കയാല്‍ Bhg. 2. to perceive, esp. to smell ഘ്രാണം കേ., മനുഷ്യമണം കേള്‍ക്കു ന്നു Bhr. I smell men. കുങ്കുമച്ചാറു തന്‍ നന്മണം കേട്ടു CG. 3. to listen to, to obey ഞാന്‍ ചൊ ല്ലുന്നതു കേട്ടു വാഴുകില്‍ Bhr. if they attend to my directions. ഞാന്‍ പറഞ്ഞപോലെ കേള്‍ക്കു മോ, പറഞ്ഞ പ്രകാരം കേട്ടോളം, അപ്രകാരം ഞങ്ങള്‍ കേള്‍ക്കയില്ല TR. — fig. കറുത്തനിറം കേള്‍ക്കേണ്ട, മുതിര നല്ലതു vu. don't mind. 4.
