ābhiǰāram S. (അഭി) Enchantment, sorcery (= മാരണമായുള്ളൊരാഭി ചാരം ആചരിക്ക CG.) looking for omens to accomplish a sinister act. ആഭിചാരാദികള്‍ നന്നാ യി പഠിക്കും ദിവസം കഴിപ്പാനായി Mud. ആഭിചാരക്കാരന്‍ sorcerer. ആഭിജാതൃം Noble birth Bhr. തൊപ്പിയി ട്ടാല്‍ ജാതിക്ക് ആ വന്നു, പന്നിയൂര്‍ കൂററിലേ ബ്രാഹ്മണര്‍ക്കു ആഭിജാതൃക്കുറേവുവന്നു, Anach. ആഭിമുഖൃം i. q. (4.) mud worked upsiantingly against a wall to strengthen it (= counter-fort, Arch.).
