čuvakka (T. ചി — fr. ചെം, ചെവ്) To be red, ചുവന്ന red, high coloured. (So. also ചുവത്ര). ചുവക്ക വറുത്തു a med. CV. ചുവത്തുക to make red (only po. of the eye) കണ്‍ ചു., കണ്മുന ചാലച്ചുവത്തി CG. കണ്ണും ചുവത്തി വിറെച്ചു Bhr. ഗാത്രം വിറെച്ചു ക ണ്ണും ചുവത്തി കൊണ്ടു Mud. VN. ചുവപ്പു 1. red; the red colour ചു. പലം രണ്ടു TR. (of weavers). 2. a ruby. 3. ചു കപ്പിന്‍റെ ദീനം = അംഗവളര്‍പ്പന്‍. CV. ചുവപ്പിക്ക to make red, to dye red.

čeḍikka (C. ചെളി, സെഡെ = ചട പ്പു) 1. To be tired, satisfied; to disrelish. 2. to be dirty, angry, to frown V1. — VN. ചെടിപ്പു loath.

Kinds: മഞ്ഞച്ചേര prov. ചേരട്ട (C. Te. ജെരി, T. ചെവ്വട്ട red leech) centipede, millipede. കരിഞ്ചേ. (black), മല ച്ചേ. (3—4/?/ thick). ചേരട്ടപാന്പു V1. a kind of Cobra. (So. തേ രട്ട MC.)
